2nd best break-up song ever
The Amazing Rhythm Aces ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly-o1BG07rw

The first, of course, is still Dylan's "Don't Think Twice."

1. Personally I think "Death on Two Legs" is an awesome breakup song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuwJ4-2f3z8

You suck my blood like a leech
You break the law and you breach
Screw my brain till it hurts
You've taken all my money - and you want more,
Misguided old mule
With your pigheaded rules
With your narrow - minded cronies you are fools of the first division-
Death on two legs -
You're tearing me apart,
Death on two legs
You never had a heart of your own -
Kill joy, Bad guy,
Big talking, Small fry
You're just an old barrow - boy
Have you found a new toy to replace me,
Can you face me -
But now you can kiss my ass goodbye
Feel good, are you satisfied
Do you feel like suicide (I think you should)
Is your conscience all right
Does it plague you at night
Do you feel good - Feel good!
( From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/q/queen-lyrics/death-on-two-legs-lyrics.html )
Talk like a big business tycoon,
you're just a hot - air balloon,
So no one gives you a damn,
You're just an overgrown school - boy
Let me tell you right.
dog with disease,
you're the King of the 'sleaze'
Put your money where your mouth is Mr. Know all,
Was your fin on the back part of the deal...(shark!)
Death on two legs
You're tearing me apart
Death on two legs -
You never had a heart of your own,
(You never did, right from the start)
Insane... should be put inside,
You're a sewer - rat decaying in a sess pool of pride
Should be made unemployed
make yourself null - and - void,
Make me feel good
I feel good.

2. Well, not sure on 2nd, but I think first is Phil Collins' "I Don't Care No More"
2nd would probably be Sheri Mullen's "Now You Hurt".

3. You Came Back To Me - Jimmy Thackery
Just last night my telephone stopped ringin’
When I got up this mornin’ all the lights were dead
Well they cut off my phone and discontinued my electric service
An all I got left is this terrible pain in my head

Well the house plants died and the dog’s packin’ his bags to leave
The cat ran away ‘bout a week after you left town
Well they took back the car and I’ll probably be late on rent this time
All that I need is for you to start hangin’ around

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse baby you came back to me
Out of the fryin’ pan into the fire I go
Talk about the blues I got ‘em, just when my luck hit bottom
I heard the sound of you knockin’ upon my door

Since you been gone I’ve been gettin’ along on my own alright
Fallin’ apart isn’t breakin’ my heart alone
I heard you say you were leavin’ to stay
How can I miss you if you won’t go away?
What makes you think if I’d care if you come back home?

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse baby you came back to me
Out of the fryin’ pan into the fire I go
Talk about the blues I got ‘em, just when my luck hit bottom
I heard the sound of you knockin’ upon my door

5. Glen Campbell - By The Time I Get To Phoenix

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUg5p3BncuQ

By the time I get to Phoenix she'll be rising
She'll find the note I left hangin' on her door
She'll laugh when she reads the part that says I'm leavin'
'Cause I've left that girl so many times before

By the time I make Albuquerque she'll be working
She'll prob'ly stop at lunch and give me a call
But she'll just hear that phone keep on ringin'
Off the wall that's all

By the time I make Oklahoma she'll be sleepin'
She'll turn softly and call my name out loud
And she'll cry just to think I'd really leave her
Tho' time and time I try to tell her so
She just didn't know I would really go.
