The first one, especially, reinforces what I believe about education and try to communicate to others:

Every damn kid is unique. I'm sick of teachers, classes, schools, districts, departments of education, and a population that thinks they all learn the same way, at the same rate, and that every kid needs to learn the same thing and that these are all detailed in something called "Standards".

It's practically a miracle that I have a career in public education, given these beliefs.
