I can't believe it, it is 62 outside in Houston.
No rain but we have fall weather.

It will be cooler tomorrow night.

It will be back to 100 next week.

2. I am enjoying this weather.
The windows are open.

Feels so strange jumping from 107 to 60 so fast.

4. I was sitting on the deck for awhile, no sweating.
Even the grass, what there is if it feels cool.

Normally we have a slower change to cooler weather.

I had to find my sweatpants.

It seems summer will last forever.

Strange to be staying outside for so long.

Time to go bike riding again.

5. I've been LOVING my back porch.
I had the ceiling fan on earlier today when it was sunny (AND NO HUMIDITY!) but it's way too cool for the fan. It's cool, breezy, & very comfy.

Just a few more weeks (?) & it's here to stay (hopefully).

6. I hope we keep this weather.
It is only fair with no rain.

It was so strange early this morning wearing a light sweat shirt jacket and cargo shorts.

I haven't wore a long pants since May.

12. It varies from year to year -- sometimes cold & sometimes just moderate.
Moderate, meaning more on the warm side. I prefer cold Halloweens (we don't get many of those, unfortunately), Thanksgivings, & Christmases.

One year in the 1980's we actually had snow on Christmas eve, which really enhanced the holiday, as you could imagine.

hey texanwitch, I interrupted a bobcat chasing a rabbit (on a walk outside to wake up) The rabbit skidded and nearly slammed into me – WHOA DUDE! I shouted – the rabbit turned around and ran and a bobcat veered off to my left into some bushes. I think I interrupted bobcat's dinner! :D

8. I sort of did the same thing.
I stopped one of the feral cats from catching a bird.

I feed the ferals, they don't need to be eating my birds.

A few years ago when I was walking my dog in the woods a rabbit ran into us.

Something was chasing it, my dog just stood there and looked at the rabbit.

She looked up at me and with this what the hell face.

The woods are gutted now, the whole center was cut out.

It was a nice place to walk.
