Although Queen made a lot of great tunes including what I think was the precursor to thrash metal: Stone Cold Crazy.

26. I cannot get through that song without losing it.
Just watching Freddie, wasted away to almost nothing, yet that voice never wavered. And the look in his eyes is so deep and wise: he's ready, but he has one last part of himself to share with us.

That one, and "The Show Must go on" just tear my heart out.

"I guess I'm learning. I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning around the corner now
Outside the dawn is breaking but inside in the dark I'm aching to be free..."

27. I'm partial to that one, too.
Although it destroys me every time I hear it. It's hard to listen to anyway, knowing what we do, but there's something really poignant about a beautiful ballad written in C major. Maybe it's the visceral familiarity, but it's so evocative. That song would not have the same impact if they'd written it a step higher, you just know it.
