1. I did that once when I was a little girl
and I didn't want my mother to know because I wasn't allowed to go outside barefoot. Sat down and pulled it out; hurt like crazy but not as much as her wrath had I told the truth.

3. I hear that. I thought it was all good because the bees are tucked in for the night, but I forgot
that the porcupines have been ravaging the neighbor's mountain ash right behind the house. x(
