What is your favourite type of makeup/toiletry on you or on other people?
I rarely wear makeup these days but will occasionally put on some lip stain(I hate lipstick..it doesn't stick around long enough). I use to wear mascara, but I just ended up looking goth because it would fall off and encircle my eyes. I love perfume but no longer wear it because of the environmental illnesses it can exacerbate. My favourite perfume is still Anais Anais.

2. mascara...
a friend turned me on to this mascara. This formula comes off with warm water -- no makeup remover. It's a totally different formula than any other mascara. I like to wear mascara but I always hated removing it. they also sell a tiny tube for bottom lashes with a tiny brush.

4. Bare Minerals.

I look pale and blotchy without a little makeup, but I hate the kind that makes you look like a Kabuki theatre actor, with the color change at the jaw line because people usually forget to blend it in. Looks terrible. Bare Minerals is a mineral based powder that you sort of paint on but it's almost invisible. I like it better than other stuff I've used. I also wear eye makeup because I look beady-eyed and washed out without it.

6. favorite??? hmmm...
If I could only use one thing it would be pressed powder.

I no longer wear perfume either - gives me a migraine. I don't like it anymore at all.

... and despite the fact that some think it too retro or old-fashioned -- seriously blue eyeshadow grabs my attention.

Think Taylor Swift eyeshadow amped up about 400 watts.

I don't believe I've ever heard her music, though.

And she's not wearing blue eyeshadow in this shot.

Just as unattractive as she was forty years ago.

I hated makeup back then, hate it now. Don't wear it.

12. What kind of lip stain?
I feel the same about mascara, but I do wear Burt's bees slightly-darker-than-natural lip color lip gloss, or hypoallergenic lipstick that doesn't have any noticeable taste.

I have a sample of Fleurs d'Orlane that's probably 30 years old that a friend/co-worker brought to me after she went to a store on her lunch break, saying she thought I'd like the scent, which I did. I occasionally thought I might buy some, but wouldn't want to make people around me have itchy nose/eyes.

13. L'Oreal Infallible lip compact. Once every six months or so I'll remember to wear it.
