2. I wouldn't keep it more than a couple of days.
If it's turned green, it's definitely been there too long.

3. i'll go as long as four, maybe five days
but i have guts made of cast iron. if i'm unsure about it, i offer it to my fat cat. if she turns her nose up at it, i know it's no good.

4. depends on how careful you were about food hygiene before stashing it and how cold
the fridge is

if your eyes and nose work, they're often good indicators: looks good, smells good, probably good -- but if its been there a while still get it good and hot for a while before tasting. if it looks good, smells good, and tastes fine after you get it hot, you're probably ok

freezers better than the fridge for long term storage. old stuff that looks and smells ok usually get dumped into my soups and boiled gently a while

6. If this is about "how safe is it for me to eat something," I'd say, don't chance it.
I have lived by that rule since forever and I think it's saved me a couple of trips to the hospital (seriously.)
