After 8 months of unemployment I have a job offer!

Just had to share. I have been so depressed. Suicidal. Was ready to give up and my sister saved me.
Moved in with her family and began applying and interviewing again (IT field - very competitive and I'm female and over 50).

Her constant pep talks and reassurances of "as long as it takes" support made the difference for me.

I'm crying as I type. Maybe the long nightmare is over for me.

10. Well I can tell you that it is rough out there.

Alot of competition. I had to relocate to a large city to even have a shot.

And again, if it were not for the charity of my sister and her family (BIL and niece) I would be homeless.

I lost everything. I have no car, not even a cell phone. My niece (a teenager bless her heart) loaned me her cell phone and my sister and BIL have been ride sharing so I can have a vehicle to use.

None of this would have been possible without them.

I have a ton of debt, lost a house but finally, A JOB OFFER.

I interviewed for a job I would LOVE to have almost four weeks ago. Great company, great benes, and the two managers that interviewed me seemed like they would be awsome to work with. I thought the interview went GREAT (felt totally on my game that day), so I've been kind of bummed that I haven't heard back from them.......but two people on my reference list called me day before yesterday to let me know that they had been contacted for a reference, so........(fingers crossed).
