Good morning. I have electricity!
Our electricity came on around 2am.

On Saturday, I had filled up the freezer with zip-lock bags of water so that our huge meat stash would be totally packed in ice. (You can start replacing words in subject lines with "huge meat stash" at will.) But finally, yesterday we grilled up everything and had friends and family over to eat it all. It was all good, but wouldn't have been able to go another day like that.

My husband was teasing me when I packed up the freezer like that. He actually went out and bought ice cream on Saturday - that had to be thrown out.

Anyway, I'm off to work now.
