13. Fargo for sure
There are some movies where I had a fundamental misunderstanding of something at the beginning, but once I cleared it up by the end, the story made a lot more sense. So, on a second viewing, the movie worked a lot better, but I don't think that quite counts.

Others:

The Big Sleep, particularly if you see the original 1945 version after the 1946 theatrical release version
The Usual Suspects
Volunteers
The Third Man
