I'm actually serious. You need to sleep through the night, so take Ambien before bed, but only for 2 nights. No more Jet Lag.

I have friends who fly for FedEx back and forth to Asia, they live with terminal Jet Lag. My one friend refuses to take Ambien, while the others are so addicted, they can't sleep through the night without it. But since this isn't your lifestyle, nothing wrong with giving it a try for a couple nights.

Also, long flights, it works great. Last year, I barely realized I'd flown 12 hours from Tokyo till I woke up in SFO.
