DU Guitarists: Is there a pedal that can simulate the Rotary or Leslie Speaker sound?

I don't have the room, money or desire to buy one of these. My Fender Tube amp gives me all the speaker love I need :)

1. Dunlop Rotovibe
The Rotovibe is my favorite, it gets pretty close, but nothing can really replace the air moving in 3 dimensions in real time that a Leslie produces

3. Thanks!
$200 it's a bit spendy, but maybe when I gain full employment I can buy it...

4. Yeah they're pricey
That's why I built this for my studio, I've got next to nothing in it. I salvaged the "hatbox" leslie assembly out of an old beat up Hammond spinet that was going to the dump, put in a speaker I salvaged from a radio shack pa cabinet and mounted it in an old packing crate...wired it up and it worked...it's even a two-speed :)

5. OMG you are a god...
That is sooo cool - love the "church organ" vibe you get out of that.

I'll probably just sink the $200 - I tried to get a "fake" Leslie sound by running the guitar through Chorus and Tremolo pedals, but no luck.

I was able to get some cool sounds by running the Analog Synth through the same pedals tho...

6. Have you tried a phase shifter?
I can get some Leslie-esque efx on my bass with an ancient Small Stone Phase Shifter.

10. Strymon makes an awesome rotary pedal.
They also make a killer delay too. Here's a couple demos.
