1. Steve Miller.
He's also the best Smoker and Midnight Toker.

3. Heath Ledger, definitely.
Who would have thought he could outdo even Jack Nicholson?

5. Ceasar, baby....
Really the one and only Joker. All others are imposters.

7. Heath Ledger, by a mile.
They were all good, but Ledger's portrayal was by far the best, IMHO.

8. Ledger
The others were funny and entertaining; Ledger was a terrifying psychopath, totally believable.

9. Hamill
Note that his inflection and character darkened as the series went on. His performance in "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" was downright sinister.

10. They were all good in their own right
Romero did fine when Batman was more camp, so he didn't need to have the sinister edge of the modern Jokers.

Nicholson was playing a role he's done dozens of times over the years, but he did it well. Overshadowed by Heath Ledger's anarchic Joker, but Jack did well with his performance, too. He was crazy and evil as well.

Hamill has been outstanding with the Batman cartoon as a voice actor - who knew that Luke Skywalker would grow into this?

And, Ledger was obviously outstanding in his role.
