Recording Audio tape to CD - easiest, cheapest
Ok, so digging thru the mountains of cassettes that have been heaped into boxes and such over the decades. Anyway, I found a few I would like to preserve digitally. Live shows, demos, etc.

So, knowledgable Duers, how would you most easily go from cassette to CD-R?

Free software? Or, at least full feature trials, so if I like it I can buy it, if not, at least use enough of it to see?

I have Nero once I get it to .wav, but not sure what to use it get it there?

thanks,

LB

2. I use
some software that came with my soundcard Soundblaster has a record 'what you hear' function. Just run a line from your cassette player to the 'line in' on your sound card.
