New adoption...
A while ago I shared with DU that my daughter rescued a Pitty...his name his Vegas..

He's settled in very nicely and is a wonderful dog. I love him as much as my own two beasties. She's decided he needs a companion so she went to the local pet store where a rescue was having an "adoption" day. She took Vegas with her and this is the dog she wants. Paisley--that's her name right now--and Vegas did well with the meet. They're setting up another meet for the two of them and hopefully she'll be Vegas' new companion. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Vegas also took to a few puppies. He almost seemed to mother them.

3. Oh, this is so cool!!
I love hearing about these types of adoptions, it seems like pitties get such a bad rep that so many folks just pass em by, and it is sad, cause so many are amazing companions. I really really hope it works out for Vegas and Paisley, please let us know!

(BTW you have an amazing daughter, she's got a lot of her mom's love of critters in her and that is to your credit! Kudos!)

4. My male cat liked to mother kitten apparently. They told me so at the vet's office where I got him.
Apparently not so rare for male pets to do.

5. If I were ever to adopt one of those doggies...
I'd name him William Pit.

Only DUers and anglophiles would get it.
