14. I don't know.
It kinda looks like that gravy they put on chicken-fried steak.

11. Depends on the source
I am Italian, and I am from a small town in Massachusetts about 25 miles out of Boston (but a transplanted Californian since I was 16).

There are TWO local places that make pizza the way I remember it as a native Bostonian of Italian descent.

1). Slice of New York on Stevens Creek

2). Pizza My Heart (any location)

The "must haves" are a thin crust, a tomato sauce free of heavy, sugary, tomato paste-based additives, and FEW toppings.

I usually order a cheese slice (sometimes two, sometimes one with mushrooms) at either of the locations above, and if I were doing so, wouldn't even consider chicken.

15. No one makes good pizza where I live, but we do know how to fry chicken. :)
The best pizza I've ever eaten had a thin, perfectly crisped crust & smoooothe tomato sauce. It was made at Shakey's Pizza, which went out of business decades ago.

One of these days I'll have to venture up North where the Italians know how to make it. :)
