Dogfish 75 Minute IPA

Johnny Cask has entered the building! We've retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours won't be ready until late March. We plan to ramp up our maple house activities to get a lot more syrup for Immort Ale, 75 Minute and future beers in the coming months and years).

1. You have my heart.
Thank you Lynne and Johnny!

These guys are SO badass at brewing beer, I don't think they'll ever put out a product that isn't a 100.

I long for the 4th of a 4-pack of 90 Minute IPA because I know it has gone room temp. It it's better than the first three.

I needed this post. I have 20 minutes to go get an IPA.

3. You would be in heaven
But Dogfish is getting recognized and sold around the country but usually just it's garden variety 60 minute IPA

Being local means you get to try all the freaky stuff Sam Calagione comes up with!

I still have a bottle of this from last year - it was yummy!

5. If it's out again - I could see if I could ship a bottle to you
Most of those special brews come in wine size bottles. I mean you can ship wine, why couldn't you ship beer?

BTW, I will say that geting this stuff in the bottle - the beer is good but most of these taste better in draft form. But hey, if you can get a flight to Philly, I have a spare bedroom and there are at least 3 places in Wilmington that specialize in Dogfish beers or we can just roadtrip down to Rehoboth and do the real thing (I even know how to get there without paying any tolls)
