Was planning on making some egg fu yung for last night's supper.

Had forgotten there was a fresh bean sprout shortage here because of e coli threat. No fresh sprouts at the store.

I thought oh heck, and bought a can of bean sprouts. I knew they would be inferior, sure.

God almighty. They were the most nauseating, disgusting, smelly, off-tasting things ever. I tasted one. Then I made fu yung with no sprouts. It was delicious, happily. It would have been ruined with those awful things.

Never heard of canned pork brains. That must be the world's worst dirty job, putting that together.

7. Pork Brains in Milk Gravy seems to be the Great Southern Delicacy
That and chicken feet.

I'm not shitting here: I went to the grocery store one fine day and the clerk was setting out packages of chicken feet. Apparently you boil them to make stock. My opinion is, there are some parts of the chicken that really need to be disposed of at the slaughterhouse, and the feet are in that category.
