I haven't put my son to bed yet...
...we're watching the NY State Senate. I ttold him they are voting on a new law that says that if you love someone you can marry that person whether they are a boy or a girl. A girl can marry a girl. A boy can marry a boy. A boy can marry a girl. Everyone will have the same rights.

He asks, "Can you marry 2 people?"

I said, "Uh...no."

He said, "When I grow up, I'm going to make a law that says you can marry 2 people."

1. LOL
You know if you put him to bed now when the vote tally is announced all the noise is going to wake him up anyway. :-)
Very cool to watch a good piece of legislation pass.

3. I like the idea of many people marrying each other under one marriage
Men and women, elderly and young. Marriages of many people, kind of like a community thing. That way every family could have a doctor, a lawyer, a social worker, a teacher, a judge and any other profession that would help marriages.

7. No, you watched Gagarin orbit the Earth.
You'll watch the moon landing when DOMA is repealed and marriage equality is national.
