Need help from tech/computer geeks.....

I want to get an Ipod...I have a usb port on my computer. Do I need to do any re-configuring to make sure I can download tunes? :shrug:

Anything I need to buy or add for my computer?

1. Simply download and install the necessary, but free software , then you're good to go

do you mean USB port? That's what you need for an iPod.

You'll also need iTunes, the music software, to sync your iPod. It's free.

7. I don't use Itunes...I use Winamp to load up my Ipod

I have more than one Itunes, but can only load from one..sucks..so I use Winamp to load from anywhere

8. If there is no software installed, will Windows recognize an ipod and

prompt to download Itunes??
