31. Actually, having your heart stopped during open heart procedures

and even bypass procedures is necessary so surgeons can stitch things together. Think about trying to embroider a puppy who wants to play.

Since it's shut down for a short period and you're on mechanical bypass, the paddles generally work the first time.

However, the three separate surgeries suck. I hope that's the last of them.
