Lawsuit claims driver was drunk, having sex, traveling at 85 mph

Wait, WHA? 85 miles per hour? The backseat? And what happened to paragraph 11?

Trust me, I've tried. You can hit that for a brief period, but not sustained - and it makes the next turn a knuckle-whitener.

What I don't get is the "partially in the back seat" - cruise control on?

When I go out hiking around Potomac, MD, I take the beltway and it's always pretty empty early in the morning on weekends.

At what is considered rush hour in the rest of the US, the beltway resembles the world's largest parking lot. Outside rush hour during normal awake time, everyone drives bumper-to-bumper at limit+15 mph, except when they crash and snarl up traffic. The rest of the time, one might actually hit 85 on the beltway, if one didn't get run over first by folks in a hurry
