Since Gov. Kasich made me an honorary citizen of Ohio
is there anything special I need to do? Eat corn every night for a week? Go out and catch lightning bugs tonight?
:P

Here is the official statement making the Mavs honorary citizens of Ohio

"Following Sunday’s 105-95 victory by the Dallas Mavericks over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, Gov. John R. Kasich issued a resolution honoring the champions on a successful season and declared members of the team and their fans to be “Honorary Ohioans.” Gov. Kasich praised the Mavericks for the loyalty, integrity and teamwork they demonstrated throughout the season. He also recognized NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki, who chose to keep his talents in Dallas by renewing his contract with the Mavericks in 2010 and forgoing free agency."

The governor of Ohio made the Texas sports (oh basketball...sorry!) team and fans "honorary citizens" for kicking Miami's ass because everyone in Ohio hates someone on the miami team that used to play for Cleveland? Are they kidding me??? Jeebus! That is the pressing political news of the day?????????? I honestly think my fellow Americans have their heads so far up their asses they can see daylight coming and going.

Forgive me if I got the sequence of events wrong. I am rarely rendered speechless, but this example managed.

on edit:
not meant as criticism of OP.
