1. I receive e-mails from them occasionally.
I have been thinking about switching, but would also like to hear from anyone else who has used Credo.

2. Do it, then you can call me for free!
I like CREDO. They use the Sprint network, and I have no complaints about call quality. I don't have a smartphone, so I can't give you any info there. The free phones are pretty basic, but then, so are all cell phone company free phones.

I was with them years ago when they were Working Assets, and their outstanding customer service brought me back.

3. Oh, one more thing...
I don't know if it's still on, but when I switched, they were doing a "we pay your termination fee" promotion. Just got my new bill with a huge credit on it for terminating AT&T. So I won't be paying a cell phone bill for a few months. SWEET!

8. That's why I want to switch.
They are offering 10% off for 6 months (I think), free Android or Blackberry Curve, and $350 buyout of current contract. We have TMobile right now. We like them but even though we've been with them for 7 years they still will not give a free upgrade to any phone. I was shocked when I had to pay last time and the phone is crap.

9. I researched the free androids before switching
According to the reviews I read (cnet, gizmodo, etc), they are pretty basic offerings. In the end, I decided that I didn't really want a smartphone anyway.

The buyout credit was super easy to get. Just sent in the AT&T cell bill with the termination fees on it, and bingo, next month the credit appeared on the CREDO account. No hassle at all, which was awesome, because we switched three lines and I wouldn't have been surprised if there had been some sort of issue.

11. They've gotten better
It's an Android 2.2 Optimus something or other...
Anyhoo, I checked online and I'm getting really mixed reviews on Credo's service. Like "it's the best thing since sliced bread" to "these idiots have no idea what they're doing". Can't decide..

13. I am firmly in the "best thing since sliced bread" category
Their customer service was so good when they were Working Assets, that's why we went back to them.

5. We've had CREDO for close to 3 years now.
The rates are reasonable, they support progressive causes, and the customer service is terrific!

You won't regret it! :)

7. I like them alright.
I have a low minute plan because I don't do that many calls, but I have unlimited texting and internet. I use a Blackberry that I've had about 2 years but I'm no longer completely satisfied with it. I'll probably upgrade the phone soon. Their rates are within reason of other companies and its great to know my money won't be used to support rigt wing causes.

12. Excellent!
I'm trying to light a fire under my man (he pays the phone bill) to get it done by tomorrow.
Question: why the blackberry over the android they're offering?
