Holy shit. I'm getting married next weekend.
Kind of hard to believe sometimes. This is the first real commitment that it feels like I can't back out of without serious consequences. So much in our future to look forward to.

I'm a very lucky man.

1. Wow!
I'm in the same situation, but I've still got a few months until September. It's a surreal feeling thinking about this person who is a "girlfriend" becoming my "wife". After 44 years, I never thought it would happen for me, and I'm not really sure how to feel... Best of luck to you!

:hi:

2. Did you just wake up with a hangover and discover this?

That's sort of how the OP sounds.

3. You've never had a situation where you haven't really taken time to reflect on something
but then when you do it feels like a really big deal?

9. The thing I love about people getting married is
that it's a real expectation of having a future, of anticipating the creation of something safe and connected to the world with another person. Congrats and here's to many happy years.

13. I misread
"so much furniture to look forward to."

A good partner is probably the best thing that can happen to someone who wants a partner.
