You have no idea how it got in your house...
Do you have things in your house, and you have no idea how they got there?

I can think of two: A Bob Seger American Tour '74 T-shirt. Must have crawled home from college.

A violin, with case & bow. I have four violins. Two are mine, one I am keeping for my daughter's friend, and the fourth one--I have no idea how it got here. It's not like someone would accidentally leave their fiddle at my house. I'm baffled!! Maybe it got lonely and crawled in!

1. Treat things in your house as a guest.

And things work out pretty good.

Not like they can steal anything from me. And if they try they would get a bit confused

And I am still due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

More tea anyone?

:loveya:

2. Hey RT, why Burgess Meredith?
Just curious.

And yeah, treating things as a guest is a good idea. Like socks and coat hangers, they may be the nymph stage of something important.

3. I liked the episode he was in that is from.
It is not about him but about the stories he told, and specifically about that episode in twilight zone.

Although he also was the penguin, and the corner guy for Rockie, so he had many good roles, and some that weren't so good, which fits the idea of not knowing for sure.

And curly is the girl in the corner from a favorite painting, so I like that.

The one episode he was in with the aliens that gave him strength, although I don't believe in aliens, was missing an ending.

So it fits in the Samson story also.

4. Lots and lots of books. I'm convinced they spawn when I'm not looking.

5. Coat Hangers reproduce in the dark.
According to the Journal of Irreproducible Results, and we know they are reliable.

They also had an article on subsidence in the U.S. being caused by people saving their National Geographic magazines.

And the article about Nessie. "Flipperae flapperae, nares ares, blind as a bat"

8. Couple things
Have a book on my bookshelf - no idea what the history behind it is: "The Effects of Nuclear Weapons", 1977 edition, by US Department of Energy, complete with a little "Nuclear bomb computer" in the back cover.

There's a surplus iPod 20GB Color edition that somehow appeared one day. It sits in the junk drawer, along with three Motorola RAZRs, an assortment of USB cables, and a bunch of AC to DC power adapters, and no clue what equipment those adaptors belong to...
