don't let them give you generic pain meds. Generics are worthless for any serious pain (like dental care.)

3. Root canals are not that painful any more.

If even if you don't get nitrous oxide, you will be totally numbed up. And you'll get some good pains afterward. I have had two of them.

If your guy is as slick as mine was, you won't even need much novacain.

5. I had had one when I was 7 months pregnant and didn't get any pain

meds and it still wasn't bad. However, my dentist at the time always told me I was one of his best patients- dental stuff has just never bothered me :shrug:

7. I can't imagine that bong thing before dentistry but you'll be fine.

I had a root canal a few weeks back. Modern dentistry is virtually painless.

This Friday i have oral surgery and I hope it's as much so!! I hate having stitches in my mouth.
