About 82 degrees or so and real humid. It's likely going to rain sometime this evening.

6. No rain for a long time.
The wind is coming from the south, from the gulf.

8. I got a bit of a burn on my arms out on Allen Pkwy today.
Got hundreds of photos of the cars, too. I'll post some once I've had time to go through them all :)

Were you at the parade? The weather was perfect for it :hi:

9. I was going to go but stayed home.
The art car parade should be in the fall or earlier in the spring.

I know a lot of peopel who don't go because of the heat.

16. It really wasn't that bad for heat.
My friend that drove was also commenting about how relatively mild it was, and he'll complain about the heat at the drop of a hat ;)

I posted a couple of the cars in MFM's Welcome-Back thread if you want to go look. I still need to resize images to make them fit on these boards better...

We had some rain early today, then sunny. Better than all-day rain like we've been having. :hi:

It's a pleasant, slightly cool spring day...

Hazy sun, a little breeze.

11. Dry and hot in the 90s here in North Georgia,
Fortunately, the humidity is low, so the heat is not totally overwhelming. But I don't want to be outside for other than a few minutes. I hate heat, so I prefer to stay inside in the A/C.

13. Farty.
I had 5-way chili-mac for lunch and I've been cooped-up writing ever since. Outside it's lovely though, in the mid-80's and sunny.

15. Beano isn't veg-friendly.
It's made with gelatin and a derivative of red fish. (Oddly, neither of those is the active ingredient. You'd think with all the farting veg*ns do, that they'd have catered the product to that audience.)

It was vegan chili. The cheese was real.

19. It sounds weird, but I now eat beans to match blood type. It's 'woowoo' territory, but works for me
That and careful food combining and eating all the raw food I can to keep those natural enzymes going strong. Just sayin'

18. It was cooler than expected for our local political meet up, so I wore a fleece jacket.
Edited on Sun May-22-11 11:24 PM by freshwest
It's been raining on and off, going down from a high of 60 to a low of 45 or so tonight. I'm dressed up to stay warm at home now, but I'm in pain with various conditions, so my response isn't normal.

But inside the meet up this morning our guest Dennis Kucinich served me a vegan breakfast. It was great to be surrounded by good Democrats. So our hearts were warm while we were there.

22. The front is still sitting overhead.
There's another round of severe weather for us tomorrow, including threats of heavy straight line winds and tornadoes.

I'm not happy but just a bit south of here cannot handle any more bad weather. It would be salt in the wound.

24. "Patchy fog after 5am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Calm wind."
According to the National Weather Service.
But there is a red flag warning (dry, no burning allowed) to the west of us. If we don't get a front through, that will be extended to us soon since we're having hot days, up into the mid 90s.
