Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

I've been waiting a week for this stuff to arrive.
Anyone who lives or has lived in Denver or other parts of Colorado, know what I'm talking about.
You can't find this stuff outside of Colorado and maybe Arizona.
Certainly not in bullshit Florida, where I now reluctantly live.
People are fanatical about this stuff.
It has it's own fan club.
When people move away from Denver, they realize that it's sold in very few places and they go through withdrawals.
As I have for two decades now.

I've got a smoked pork butt slow cooking in the crock pot until it's ready to shred or cube into small pieces.
Some home made re-fried beans and some rice go into a large tortilla with the smoked pork.
Smother it in the Green Chile sauce and sprinkle a handful of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Into the oven at 350 for 10-15 minutes and prepare for your very own blissful rapture.

I bought a few cans when they closed it out. Wish I had bought them out. It's great on huevos rancheros.

Chili verde is one of my most favorite foods ever.
