I need a good IPA(pale ale)
My standard is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale--favorite beer since 1995-any suggestions? Oh yeah--it has to available in northern Wisconsin.

1. Well, so much for Meadhall
100 different brews on tap, around the corner from my office, but a bit of a hike from Wisconsin to Cambridge, MA.

And Ipswich IPA probably doesn't reach that far...

So, since you're over there, I suggest you seek some illumination...

2. Dammit! I've had all that Wisconsin has to offer!
I had a good one when in Yosemite last summer. I love the microbrew trend around here, but noone is forcing them to make good beer!

3. Greene King IPA
The beer of Suffolk, England.

Ask for it by name!

8. Sierra Nevada is very nice
I've lately gotten fond of Belgian style ales - Leffe Blonde and Hoegaarden are good IMO, Hoegaarden especially has notes of citrus and coriander. Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat is a recent favorite too. I never became a beer drinker till just recently, but have found that there are some really nice choices out there, not the swill I was used to drinking as a kid in high school.

And - if these choices are available in mid-Iowa, I'd think they might be available near you in northern Wisconsin.

Cheers! :toast:
