It has taken the whole DAMN DAY since I got home to feel decent, but I finally do.

My knee is feeling fine, but the problem was the nausea from the anesthesia!

I think I finally metabolized the stuff, and the yucky sick feeling is gone. GONE.

Heh, I'm even feeling a little bit hungry!

When that happens, I know I'm going to be OK.

I'm VERY glad you're feeling better (appetite is a good indicator with me, too).

I had 4 pins in my lower leg following my motorcycle accident and they knocked me
out when they removed them (pretty sure they just unscrewed 'em and YANKED).

It was an in-out procedure and the whole staff was waiting at the foot of my bed
as I was the last patient to release before they could all go home. I was feeling
REALLY REALLY good from the anesthesia, but I got sick from it and remember
clearly one of the nurses chuckling and saying, "That's the first time I've ever
seen anyone throw up and smile at the same time."

Sorry I missed you last night. I'm very glad to hear you're doing fine. The lack of knee pain will be such a good thing...

Funny, anesthesia and I get along just swell! I think that might be a result of some of the (many!) things I did as a youngster LOL.
