Damn. I used to work at a place in Dallas that sold it - beans and ground. Of course, that was in the 80's but shit, it sure as hell didn't cost that much.

I can get Blue Mountain BLEND for $10/lb but that's not pure Blue Mountain. The stuff I order is certified estate pure Blue Mountain. I can taste the difference.

I wonder if those crazy prices have to do with all these "authorized resellers"? When I knew the the stuff, there was just one distributor. I drank all kinds of fancy brands back in the day. I was pulling espresso machine levers and steaming milk 30 years ago. I liked Blue Mountain Jamaican but when it comes to coffee I prefer punk rock slag from hell.
