farm animals like chickens, rabbits and pigs for our their own consumption for thousands of years. It's not neat and pretty, but humans are basically omnivores. We can choose to limit our meat intake for health reasons and because we're animal lovers, but most of us are omnivores.

The more people who express disgust and outrage at that video, the less likely it becomes that the ad is ever going anywhere. Your disgust and outrage are exactly the reaction that was desired. If you give them the reaction they want, you're positively reinforcing their strategy of producing ads like that. It's the same with the dead fetus posters that the anti-choice crazies carry around abortion clinics; the more that people talk about them, the more likely that the number of those posters will skyrocket, because there's no such thing as "bad" publicity.

If people really can't stand to see it, try using Firefox or Google's Chrome browser. Both have AdBlock extensions that get rid of it.
