2. That was mean..... sorry for your pain, you might want to put a clove of garlic
on the offending member in order to reduce the pain, really.

5. All is forgiven if you send that chocolate. And thanks for the advice.
I read garlic was effective but have never tried it.

4. Thanks *sniff* That was my bellweather for worrying about what childbirth would be like.
I once had a really nasty abcess (which this isn't) and always said that if labor was no worse than that I would be okay. It'wasn't nearly as bad.

The Vicoden fairy just came and I ought to be better in about a half hour. I'm still laughing re your "Playing House" cartoon. That's my goal at the moment, to wait for it to kick in and then diagnose myself.

I have been blessed with good teeth (knocking wood) so I don't have that comparison but oh man - kidney stones!

10. I also had that happen once. I still eat almonds.
Love them. But since my dentist was able to fix the tooth so easily, I am not all that concerned.

12. Vicoden and ice cream. You just described my afternoon.
Except the vicoden makes me fall over so I have to alternate. It doesn't seem to actually halt the pain but it does make me semi-comatose so I can't form the words to complain.

Oh look, time for another dose, soon as I finish my ice cream...

(Glad you're better. I'll be joining you tomorrow)

16. thanks
the vicoden for me takes the "deep" pain away. and like you said, makes me also not care, otherwise.

Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow.
