3. You won't regret it.
He is great live. We saw him in Rural OK at my hick college. He said the F word and people left. He said it's a good thing they left now, because worse is coming. It was awesome. I love the guy.

7.  Full report (well actually brief report) as requested above
He was really good, but I also got the impression, which may or may not be accurate , that he held back just a little for a more mainstream Casino audience. But he was still pretty savagely funny and right on the mark about the stuff he talked about; just not as stridently political as I suspect he might be under other circumstances, and a little more (only a little) low key than some times I've seen him on TV/you tube etc... He may have been a little tired too; it's a long drive from Phoenix to here (8 hours, and he did a show there the previous evening, and apparently he and his opening act drove instead of flew here, but I may have misunderstood that))And never having seen him in person before, I can't really assess that one way or another ; just speculation. But still enjoyed it and glad I went. I'd just sort of rate the show as very, very good but maybe a little short of great.

8. So grand he is...
We saw him last July....It always sends me when I am sitting
next to my family and they are nodding their heads and
then laughing with wild abandon...love, love that sound.

Enjoy

9. He's excellent.
I saw his first movie last year, STARK RAVING BLACK.

He has two books out, ME OF LITTEL FAITH and NOTHING SACRED.

10. glad you went and had a good time
You can never go wrong at a Lewis Black show. I've seen him twice, the first time at the Warner Theater in DC and then last November in Northampton, MA. He made it a point to say from the get go that if you were from Noho and were easily offended the time to leave was now.
