Has anyone seen the tv series "Weeds"? Is it any good?

1. We were immediately HOOKED on the TV Guide channel marathon...

One of the best series I've seen. Casting GREAT... story characters I'm hooked. Well acted, and the story line is as on the edge as it gets...

TV Guide channel on cable did a teaser marathon before the holidays, which is when my husband and I watched it. Of course, that was season one and two... My neighbor, who gets Showtime, tells me it's great in its 6th year.

I've watched since the first season. I usually let a couple episodes pile up and watch a bunch back to back. I watched last season in a day. Hooked from the first episode.

5. I loved the first two seasons of Weeds

Watched the third, but gave up on the fourth. I hear it has improve, though. If I get really, really boarded sometime, I might check out seasons 5 and 6.

got pretty unreal into the third season. I gave up on it.
My wife watched through season 4 and enjoyed it.
Certainly far better than most stuff out there.

6. It is alright

I thought it was great until I saw the reruns on TV Guide channel which airs the first few seasons and it isn't that great now that I got to see the episodes again. I'm dying to see Season 6 so go figure.

I'm expecting a letdown though, there are far better shows out there.

11. It's gotten a lot darker and violent.

I'm working through the fifth season on DVD. I can't say that I am enjoying the series now as much as I did in seasons one and two.

But Mary-Louise Parker is (as usual) excellent.
