Kurtwood Smith (Eric's dad in That '70s Show) should play Bill O'Reilly in a biopic
Edited on Tue Feb-22-11 01:18 AM by alp227

Red Forman, father of Eric Forman, portrayed by Kurtwood Smith in That '70s Show (Fox sitcom that ran from 1998-2006, took place in the fictional Point Place, Wisconsin).

Bill O'Reilly, a political commentator for Fox News since 1996 and host of The O'Reilly Factor. Recently badgered the president repeatedly during a pre-Super Bowl interview.

Here's video of O'Reilly interviewing Senator Obama in 2008 and video of scenes featuring Red on That '70s Show. These guys' voices sound similar (except Smith/Forman has a bit more Wisconsin accent I guess).

In the wake of the union backlash in Wisconsin over that dimbulb governor's plan to revoke collective bargaining, and the continuing corruption of the American democracy by Fox News, I decided to come to the lounge and share some brighter cultural thoughts about Wisconsin and Fox News.

1. Too calm and even-tempered
Maybe if they made him wear shoes that are too tight?

5. Red Foreman's words of wisdom

When used separately, women and alcohol can be a lot of fun. But if you mix 'em, they can turn you into a dumbass.

Son, you don't have bad luck. The reason bad things happen to you is because you're a dumbass.

Without rules, we'd all be up in trees, flinging our crap at each other.

Life's too short to spend it with people who annoy you.

I can't afford to feed your friends. I can't afford to feed you, but the law requires me to.

I'm not loving anyone I don't legally have to.

Sorry Kitty, yelling's the only part of being a father I enjoy.
