Not exactly the feel-good movie of the year, is it?
Yikes. The ending depressed me for days, and that was after watching it on TV. No wonder it didn't do well at the box office. It was interesting and well done, but awfulky depressing.

3. For Nicholas Cage, watch "Weather Man" instead. It's disturbing, but in a more constructive way.

The only downside was Michael Caine trying to fake an American accent. Caine is good in it, but his accent is distractingly off. Otherwise a brilliant and thoroughly satisfying movie.

I thought the ending wasn't all that depressing at all, just the overall subject matter.
