2. I love your colour choices i the un-named one. That would make
great colours to decorate a livingroom in.

5. Lemme guess- are you a Brit?
"Colours" kinda gives it away (I spent a year in England and loved every second)...

7. I'm Canadian and have had it drummed into my head by my anglophile parents to
keep up with all the British traditions in Canada which include "ou". But a close guess.

Have you studied art? Did you take any colour theory?

8. I was a landscaper for many years.
Next best thing to art training. I always seemed to have a feel for colours.

10. Yes you do. I am really emotionally tuned into colours. I get a great big kick out of them
especially if they are put together in a certain way. I'm not artistic though.

Wow, landscape architecture and fractals. You certainly have the creative gene.

6. Lovely. I shore due like the fractals. Are these authentic fractals,
or merely reproductions or simulations? I don't know how to tell.
Anyway, very nice stuff, no doubt. It's like art, or maybe it is art. Well, these are clearly art. But what I mean is that if I say about art, then ... I can't say what it is, but I know it if I see it.

9. They're "authentic" fractals.
I texturize and colorize, but the underlying form is always a pure fractal of my own creation. It's why I can claim it to be original "fractal art".

11. Texturize and colorize. If it is not trade secret, could you describe
the process?
You start out with, well, this is canvas, no? Conventional. Then what happens. Or is this all computer art?
I do see texture in the first. In fact, it says to me ... tapestry.
If I sound like an idiot, I should say, here's a tapestry story of mine.
I was at the University of Michigan, Power Center for a Shakespeare play; the Royal Shakespeare was in, well, on the road?
And I was discussing the play with some of the locals. One said "oh, by the way, have you seen the tapestries here? (In the hall?)"
No says I. I'm here for the play.
I later realized the tapestries are by Pablo Picasso, and Roy Lichtenstein. Uh. And I didn't look, I thought it was a conversational diversionary tactic.

12. Impossible to explain.
Only way to figure it out is research. It's computer generated, so you need to train yourself in programs like Ultra Fractal and Photoshop.

I first discovered fractals in the 80s and have been developing my style all these years. One good starting place will be here: http://www.nahee.com/PNL/Fractals.html Paul Lee has an excellent page (besides being a friend of mine).

Have fun, and welcome to the club! :toast:

13. Oh, I'm not going to do it. I'm just a fan of art. A musicologist. My
performance days are over.
But I still must study the issues and the world. The technique. I'll check it out, but to know how it's done.
Not to do it. I'll leave that to the artists. The creative. I can't even draw good stick figures.
