You know you have good stuff when they roll around in it! I've always been amused by that. Sadly my current cats are catnip neurtal. They don't like it that much except on the occasional toy.

3. All of my cats like catnip, but...

...only the gray-and-white one gets that excited about it. The black one (who didn't come into the room when I was taping this) likes to get into it but not so much, the brown one barely does anything except enjoy the smell.

4. tip for growing

I used to try to grow the nip for my old cats (have a dog now) but trouble was, they would roll on it and eat it before the plants could grow. Other cats in the neighborhood as well as my own.

I finally hit on a solution: a hanging planter. Hang it really high!

Catnip and catmint are good herbal medicine for people too.
