1. Thanks for putting this up.

Even though I am currently owned by a cat, I tend to watch this every year. And the cat, all 25 lbs of him, is getting pretty sassy of late. Perhaps I should get a dog to keep him on his toes. You know, keep him in condition with some additional exercise. Hmmm. A herder (I have a thing for Border Collies) and they're on tonight, or a terrier (whatever they're calling Jack Russells these days) which are on tomorrow night? Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions . . . .

3. Not a bad idea (maybe?)

I don't do cats! but 'beware' Border Collies, VERY smart, and demanding, from what I hear; they demand WORK/exercise. Similar w Jack Russell's too, that is, assertive/demanding. MINE are Bedlington Terriers, but without ANY at the moment glued to Westminster.

Thanks, and I know that about BCs and JRs. It would tick off the cat too much, but it was amusing to contemplate, however briefly.

One of my neighbors has a couple of Bedlingtons, and they are certainly much less of a handful than BCs and JRs that I have known. Very well behaved for terriers.

There is a relocation (destination as yet unknown) in my future, so I won't be getting any dogs until that has happened. No sense in putting another creature through that if I can avoid doing so.
