Wanna tell you a story, bout the house-man blues
I come home one Friday,
Had to tell the landlady I'd-a lost my job
She said that don't confront me,
Long as I get my money next Friday
Now next Friday come I didn't get the rent,
And out the door I went

1. Sorry that you lost your job. Good vibes heading your way!
But I suspect that what you'd really like is some rent money.

2. Haha, oh I lost my job a while ago
This is just the first verse to George Thorogood's "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" :)

Appreciate the vibes anyway though. :)

3. Oh FFS
You nearly gave me a heart attack.

ps: It's a John Lee Hooker song that Thorogood happens to do a version of.

4. Haha, my apologies, didn't mean to worry you
And I never knew that. I've only ever heard the Thorogood version.

10. You really need to lighten up, Francis. That stuff causes heart problems.

7. My favorite song of his!
A friend of mine is on tour with George as we speak -- he is one of his sound guys. He will be in the Los Angeles area in April, I am thinking of going to see him.
