Valentines Day and Hissing Cockroaches...Whats not to love?
Show your love on V-Day by naming a roach
February 11, 2011 - 5:02am

WASHINGTON - Candy. Flowers. Jewelry. So predictable.

If you want to make this Valentine's Day unforgettable, though not necessarily in a good way, consider this idea from the Bronx Zoo.

Name a roach after someone. Specifically, a Madagascar hissing roach.

The zoo is offering to name one of its 58,000 giant cockroaches after your significant other, or if it's more appropriate, your former significant other, his boss, or anyone else you'd like to show how you truly feel.

I so have some people I'd LOVE to do this for....

1. Naming any of them after members of the former administration
would be an insult to cockroaches everywhere.
