Recommend an iPad case
Preferably one that doesn't cost more than 1/5th the cost of the actual iPad itself.

2. Defender or Commuter?
Seems like the Defender might add too much weight/bulk.

You don't find it to be so?

I'm leaning that way I think.

3. The Defender.
It does add some bulk, but if you ever drop it or even bang it on something, you'll be thankful. I don't have one, btw, but have recommended it to a number of folks that have been pleased with it. I saw a demo with it a short while ago, and the gent damn near threw an iPad across a cement floor and it came out untouched. I do have one for both my cell phones, and will continue to buy their products.
