4. I'm so far down south that if we ever have a snow day, the evidence is gone by day 3.
To build a 14"-tall snowman, it takes about a 12-ft. sq. area of ground's worth of snow.

Snow was actually forecasted for last night but we got only rain.

7. The Onion News Network has a terriffic spot on this last night
on Independent Film Network.

It was all about how FEMA was so desperate to prevent another disaster in New Orleans that, with the threat of a dusting of snow, the city is inundated with thousands of out-of-state snowplows, hundreds of helicopters orbit while looking for anybody stuck on roofs, and the National Guard is activated.

As the flakes start to fall, the civil defense sirens begin blaring, and the entire 9th Ward is preemptively evacuated to the SuperDome.

8. Hysterical....LOL
Now throw the Super Bowl into the mix:

Tuesday: Dallas talking heads in the middle of the ice storm "Hey, at least this will be over by the end of the week when all our visitors come into town

Wednesday: "Er, we still have a couple days left for things to turn around, the VIP's have to
make it here..and it will be sunny and in the 50's for SUNDAY!!!" Unannounced rolling blackouts throughout the state...including the supposedly exempt hospitals. BUT all the NFL activities are really exempt and have not lost power by order of Homeland Security and the FBI.

Thursday (3rd day of city wide shutdown): "Slight dusting to maybe an inch of snow tonight, no big deal, at least it is not ice, right? To our visitors, it was 70 degrees last week..really, it was"

Friday: 7 inches of snow later/no snow plows locally owned by the Dept of Transportation/hundreds of cancelled inbound flights/7 injured people at Cowboy stadium from falling ice/Super Bowl parties slashing admission prices by up to 50% since no one is going on the snow filled roads/and.....that supposed expected 50 degree sunny weather on Sunday has now been downgraded to it might make it to the 40's and there is 30% change of some precip but none of the weather people will committ to it being snow/sleet or rain.
