A little help with Topix...

First, I haven't posted in a while, but the good news is that I was elected a city councilmember in November!

And now the bad news...

A musician I work with wrote a post attacking Topix (I happen to agree.) But, in order to "josh with him" I made a Topix post accusing him of possibly being the fictional Smurfs character Gargamel. (vicious slander, I know)

However, the guy is really upset and paranoid that people in his local community might believe me and he might lose business. So, in order to honor his wishes, I went to delete my Topix post...only to find out that you can't!

What I can do, is click "report abuse" and get the admins to delete it. If enough people do this, it will be on the fast track to deletion:

1) Go to http://www.topix.com/forum/city/bainbridge-ga/T6BQMQP5S34PQFUH7#comments

2) Click "report abuse" on the 1st and 4th posts.

3) for the reason put something like Terms of Service Violation: Personal Information without consent


You can't make this stuff up. Thanks for your help!
