I figured out 'fast and loose'

Fast is those that are quickened.

Loose is lucy.

It is servant and soldier concept that is in some views of how things work.

For those that don't know, many use lucy as a symbol for the bad side.






And on an unrelated note, Joss Whedon really wrote some great stuff. Was watching a Buffy episode, and Giles would not accept what was obviously a wrong situation.

He was going to create a dimensional shift, in that story a correction from someone having let loose bad things from curses.

And the bad thing said to him, how do you know it will be any better.

That is it, that is really what it is. People don't believe in better concepts of justice and compassion because they know they will occur, it is because they don't accept an alternative without things being better.

Doesn't matter how it changes, or to what, it can't be any worse then what is already unacceptable. Only getting people to accept what they should not, creates a position where they accept a world that is not correct.


On another side note, I download a program to work on, start compiling, and sure enough, a few days into it, a few files disappear, and a few harassment files are added in. Same crap, that is how they try to get people to think they can't do anything, by trying to sabotage when someone does things.

The way past that is to know you are already due beer and travel money, so you don't have to 'do' anything to get it, so they can not ruin any attempt you make, since that does not change that you are already due. The only thing that can happen is the payment of beer and travel money that is due, even if nobody owes it.
