Ok, Ramsay is tearing apart another hapless restaurant.
Which is more voyeuristic, Kitchen Nightmares or Hoarders?

1. Good grief! I can't watch either of those shows.
Not so much voyeuristic as pure torture. And when i say can't watch, I mean I can't linger on them for more than three seconds while surfing.

3. I have this strange fascination with Gordon Ramsay...
I used to watch all the time, but I don't watch much television anymore. But if I did, I am still drawn to his shows. I keep waiting for some fed up owner to bust him right in the mouth.

10. Or a fed-up chef to threaten him with a cleaver.
He's a prima donna asshole. I've worked for prima donna assholes like him (in the food industry) and it's all about him. He doesn't know a thing about real teaching.

4. I can't stand him anymore.
The dynamic he establishes with people reminds me of Dr. Laura. He is abusive and insulting, and the people he berates always end up fawning, obsequious, and grateful for his abuse.

I am tired in general of all the reality shows that line up quaking adult professionals in front of a panel of haughty "experts" who scathingly dismiss their work.

5. Why I don't watch those shows
"I am tired in general of all the reality shows that line up quaking adult professionals in front of a panel of haughty "experts" who scathingly dismiss their work." Ditto to the nth.

6. I'm not sure how sage the advice Ramsay gives is
Edited on Sat Jan-22-11 10:16 PM by Mudoria
considering his own restaurants have been tanking the last year or so.

He was kicked off after the fourth episode.

13. I used to love "Hell's Kitchen"
back when I was sort of a masochist. I've grown up since then, but I see that Gordon Ramsay has not.
