5. My dear Crystal Clarity!
I was really happy to capture that!

The pond had overflowed its banks, and I wanted to show that too...

I think the worst of the rain is done, now.

Thanks, sweetie!

6. My dear Swede!
Aw, thanks...

I'm not sure about San Diego...

The storm is clearing out here, so I suspect (but I don't know for sure) that things won't be too bad down there either...

12. Great pix!
I think a lot of that moisture got lost on it's way to Canyon Country because while heavy it's not been as bad as in years past. I see the water done riz near ya. If it's clear tomorrow morning like they say I hope to get in a ride to the Rock. Gonna take it slow for the sand that will certainly be on the two-lanes up here.

Have fun, but stay safe!

Aw, thanks, sweetie!

I really needed to get out of the house, and when I saw the rainbow from my study, I knew I was going!

That last one is one of my favorites, too.

We are normally so damn dry...that to see a park bench sitting in the water......well, it doesn't happen too often!

26. hey, we saw the same rainbow....
here in century city - everyone went running to the window..... such a rare treat here (actually we saw 2 yesterday, one earlier in the afternoon when the sun peeked out for a few minutes, then this awesome one where the colors were so incredibly vibrant)

How cool!

Another DU'er not far away...

It was such a great rainbow, wasn't it? When I first spotted it, out of my study window, it was a complete arch...but they don't last...

Thanks for stopping by!

30. Awesome pics, and the contrast is killing me.
I left my house today, and I have two flights of stairs from my yard to the street. The yard itself is nice, a dusting of snow and ice to make things look pretty, but I got to the street and to my left was the remains of a dead skunk that has been there for three weeks (just a pelt at this point), and to my right was a used condom (which, considering the temps here, makes me appreciate the participant's spirit, if nothing else...).

Needless to say, I want my rainbows and lakes!!!! :)

That IS quite a contrast! Skunk pelts and a used condom? :scared:

I have never seen such things in my street!

Alas, the rainbow is gone, but it will live on in my picture...

The park is still largely underwater, and it will be for some days...

Thanks, sweetie!
