Over a year ago, I asked for help finding science related songs for my brother to use in his classes. He would use the songs for various things including a ceremony to inaugurate a new physics club president. He actually let everyone in class become physics club president. Then they could all use that title on their college applications if they were going into the sciences. :)

I made a CD and was collecting songs for another volume but - http://tinyurl.com/2f8k65p .

Any way, I was going through some of his stuff and found the CD. Made me smile.

Here's what you helped me compile:

01 Also Sprach Zarathusta (from 2001) - Vienna Philharmonic
02 She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby
03 I am a Scientist - The Dandy Warhols
04 Big Science - Laurie Anderson
05 Galaxy Song - Monty Python
06 The Elements Song - Tom Lehrer
07 Particle Man - They Might Be Giants
08 It’s More Fun To Compute - Kraftwerk
09 In The Future - David Byrne
10 Pocket Calculator - Kraftwerk
11 NaCl - Kate and Anna McGarrigle
12 Weird Science - Oingo Boingo
13 Space Oddity - David Bowie
14 Starman - David Bowie
15 Rocket Man - Elton John
16 Major Tom (Coming Home) - Peter Schilling
17 Home Computer - Kraftwerk
18 Dr. Who theme
19 Star Trek movie theme
20 Stranded - Manfred Mann’s Earth Band

Thanks again.

Edited to add: I just realized that the last song isn't science related. But this is Iowa and when we were in college, we often listened to "Stranded in Iowa"
